A couple have been jailed after having sex in the back of a policecar.
Heather Basten, 29, and Travis Husnik, 33, got frisky in the back of the patrol vehicle after being picked up on suspicion of drink driving.
But after setting off towards the Oconto County in Wisconsin, the deputy driving noticed the pair were getting amorous and stopped the vehicle.
He ordered Husnik to pull up his trousers and get in the front seat, Sky News reports.
The pair were charged with disorderly conduct and lewd and lascivious behaviour.
Map: The couple had been pulled over for drink driving in WisconsinSheriff Mike Jansen told Sky News: "In my 37 years on the job, I've not been made aware of anything like this happening in our county."
Husnik, who has previous convictions, was sentenced to 90 days in prison while Basten was jailed for 48 days, fined and ordered to pay court costs.
Judge Jay Conley is quoted as saying: "The process of being
arrested is supposed to be somewhat unpleasant ... and you end up having a tryst. Incredible."
